Custom straw marquetry

Straw Marquetry is a technique used primarily in 17th century England and France.  Used most famously by Jean-Michael Frank in the 1930's, the technique involves the application of soaked, split and flattened individual pieces of straw which are then applied to furniture and accessories like a veneer.

Straw Marquetry is a unique alternative material to add as an accent to any interior.  Varying hues and reflectivity add an appealing element unparalleled by typical finishes.
